Spanish Poker Festival Main Event goes to Indian player Solanki

Indian player Mahaveer Solanki defeats German Cetingdag on the Spanish Poker Festival Main Event final day.

From 6th to 12th February, Rozvadov in Czech Republic has been hosting the Spanish Poker Festival 2017, the second edition of this poker festival that has had breaking-record numbers and that led a total sold-out on the the hotels two weeks before the festival.  

The tournament was hosted by the well-known King's room Casino and yesterday celebrated its Main Event Final Day.

The Main event, with €300 buy-in and a €160.000 prize-pool guaranteed was one of the most populars events and gathered a total field of 582 players. 

A total 228 players arrived to the Final Day and although a very long day was expected, the eliminations ran very fast, and there wasn't even "Bubble Boy" due to simultaneous all-in only two players before the prize chart.

There were cash prizes for first 63 players, being €755 the lowest amount up to the €27.552 for the winner.

Final table went on very fast too and Indian Mahaveer Solanki, defeated countryman Pranjal Batra and the German Cetindagb becoming winner of the Spanish Poker Festival and getting the €27.552 prize.

Apart of the Main Event, Spanish Poker Festival had many side events really attractive for players. One of the more populars was the Spanish Cup, with a field of 603 players and a first prize of €11.055 that went for the German playern Jobbi.

The Local Hold'em deepstack with €15.000 guaranteed had a total of 262 players, and went to Spanish Jonatan Escuerdo who got a €4.962 prize. 

The higher buy-in of the festival, €600, was for usual High Roller, which gathered 55 players and its first prize, €9771, went to ukranian Volodymir Kernytskyi.

After seven days of the best poker it can be said that Spanish Poker Festival 2017 Winter Edition has been amazing inpoker and action. It's been amazing edition in terms of players and numbers and the organization has already confirmed next summer edition 29th of June to 9th July at King's Room in Rozvadov.
