Adrián Mateos wins the HR 50K Pokerstars Championship Montecarlo 

The Spaniard won Single Day High Roller 50.000€ del Pokerstars Championship Montecarlo and a €908.000 prize, the third most important in his whole career and which also place him at the 78th place in the world wide poker history. 

Only 14 hours playing needed Spaniard Adrian Mateos to beat the 52 players registered (plus 12 re-entries) and winning the €908.000 reserved for the first position.

In total the registration gathered a €3.104.000 prize pool and 9 positions ITM. Many big names walked home empty handed as Daniel Negreanu, Isaax Haxton or Dan Smith that couldn't make it to the top 9.

The Heads-up between Spanish Adrian Mateos and Canadian Dvoress, registered 3 times, started against Dvoress with a 5:1 advantage. Dvoress won some chips stealing some blinds but couldn't do much against Mateos. The last hand, at 2:30 in the morning, came with an 8 in the flop that gave the victory to Mateos, with a jack-eight against king-four suited.
