After 40 hours in a coma and several weeks in the hospital, Leon Tsoukernik, businessman and former owner of King’s Resort, has reemerged with a stunning message of optimism: “I feel fantastic”.
In an exclusive interview with Forbes Czech Republic, the poker mogul confirmed his full recovery, expressing gratitude to his family and the medical team that treated him.
Tsoukernik, who suffered a propofol overdose, was hospitalized at Na Homolce in Prague and later transferred to the University Hospital of Pilsen. During his recovery, he faced bilateral pneumonia, but managed to pull through thanks to intensive medical care.
💬 “I’m completely recovered, and I even remember things I had forgotten”, Tsoukernik stated, emphasizing the unwavering support of his wife Sandra.
His case reignites discussions on the misuse of anesthetics like propofol, the same substance linked to Michael Jackson’s death in 2009.
