The EPL KnockOut, the inaugural event of the Enjoy Poker League, turned into an unforgettable tournament due to unexpected challenges. A massive blackout in Chile forced the event to be extended to two days, increasing excitement among players.
Despite the disruption, the tournament surpassed its guarantee, reaching a total prize pool of CLP$15,180,000 with 92 entries at CLP$165,000 each. In the end, Wálter Salazar emerged victorious, taking home CLP$2,493,750.
Chilean player Franco Pierattini, who dominated Day 1 as the chip leader, couldn’t overcome Salazar’s aggressive play in the heads-up battle and settled for second place.
The EPL KnockOut’s success proves that the Enjoy Poker League is off to a strong start in 2025. With a packed tournament schedule and an enthusiastic player base, this league is set to become a key fixture in the Latin American poker scene.
