Start playing online and then finish live in Mexico City - as WPT Global brings the excitement of the World Poker Tour to our first combined online and live tournament this May.

And that's not all: we'll be adding a live WPT Mystery Bounty tournament at the same time.

WPT500

The $500,000 USD Guaranteed WPT500 tournament in Mexico City is offered exclusively to WPT Global online players, with $500 + $50 USD Day 1 flights starting April 9th. Play as many Day 1 flights as you like to build up a big stack for Day 2 through May 21st; in this event, only the largest single stack you've accumulated will advance to Day 2.

All Day 1s are played until 12.5% of the players remain, bursting the money bubble and then ending. Each remaining player is in the money, advancing to play live at the Mexico City Frontón on May 31st on Day 2nd.

All players who qualify online to play Day 2 will receive, in addition to their tournament prize, $1,000 USD into their WPT Global accounts for travel expenses to Mexico City and play live on Day 2.

If you qualify for Day 2 more than once, you will come to Mexico City to play with your largest stack only. Each smaller stack is charged as a Day 2 min-cash and your buy-in will be credited within 72 hours of getting your Day 2 seat; the winnings will be deposited into your WPT Global account. The remainder of the min-cash will be credited after registration for all flights has closed.

WPT Mystery Bounty

Also scheduled for May 30th-31st, a live WPT Mystery Bounty will be held at the Frontón in Mexico City, with a $5,000 USD buy-in, open exclusively to WPT Global members. WPT Global will add an additional $50,000 USD in bounties.

Day 1 play at the Frontón is May 30th, while the Day 2 final will be May 31st. Each tournament entry is split in half: 50 percent goes to the prize pool and 50 percent to the mistery bounties pool.

The mistery bounties prizes are determined by the total number of tournament entries. The minimum reward is $1,000.

There will also be additional bounty prizes during the event, as WPT ambassadors and influencers will come to Mexico City to play in the tournament. At least one additional bounty will be located at each table when play begins.
