From Toronto to the Hall of Fame


Born on July 26th, 1974, in Toronto, Canada, to a Romanian immigrant family, Daniel showed a competitive spirit early on. He dropped out of school to pursue poker, overcoming initial setbacks to become a legend. In 1998, he won his first WSOP bracelet at just 23, becoming the youngest champion in history at the time.
