The World Poker Tour is back in 2022. The WPT kicks off its route with the Star Gold Coast Prime event No Limit Hold’em in Australia, with a $1,500 AUD buy-in (AUD$1,350 + $150 = $1,500) and its mid-stakes tournament offering that will replace the WPTDeepStacks.
The WPT Prime Gold Coast festival will take place from June 9-20 with 11 events over a 12-day period, with the main event taking place from June 16-20th.
Some of the highlights include the $1,000 ($600 + $300 + $100) Mystery Bounty, which will be the first Mystery Bounty event to be held in an Australian casino, along with the $1,500 ($1,330 + $170) Main Event, featuring a starting stack of 30,000 chips. Tournament buy-ins start at just $330 ($300 + $30), so it will fit any budget.
The winner of the WPT Player of the Festival award will be the player who earns the most POF points during the period comprising such WPT Festival.
